We've had this problem and we’re here to explain what you can do to fix it and get back to playing.
Error: Could not activate this game because this computer does not have the required displayname field.
When the error pops up, go to the Origin Store and add the game to your library. Then, try installing the game again.
EA reported a bug that caused Origin to fail to update the registry on some Windows 10 PCs. Unfortunately, this bug was not resolved.

Restore your purchased content and try again.

Issue:
Can't Activate due to Missing Displayname Field Error
Cause:
Origin isn't able to create the registration value in the registry.
Resolution:
This issue is caused by the game being out of date with respect to its version of the registry and is not caused by any issue with your PC. You can be sure that your PC is functioning correctly and that the registry is updated when it runs.
If your PC can’t play this game, you may need to log in with an account that has access to the DisplayName field.”
